#JCLove – Representing Connecticut
OVERVIEW
The 2015 National Convention was held from July 27th to August 1st at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Connecticut's delegation was composed of 8 students from Classical Magnet. We traveled by van during our eleven-day trip, making stops at the Alamo and the Parthenon along the way.
Pre-Convention: NJCL Invitation!
We were all super pumped to be heading to Trinity College, especially with the awesome invitation. The NJCL Convention's a huge deal to us Latin lovers, and we had a great time preparing. We had over a thousand messages in our group chat on Facebook as we excitedly planned for our trip.

Spirit, Competitions, and More Fun
On July 27th, we finally arrived at Trinity College in San Antonio. It was about 100 degrees errday, but we were ready to get our game on nevertheless.
Our 16-hour days were filled with academic contests, spirit cheering, meetings (that were actually fun), art competitions, dances, selling "non possum quidem" t-shirts, buying ice cream by the pint, and "yield[ing] not to misfortune" (#tunecedemalis).
